SNS Group are seeking a well-organised individual to join our expanding Digital Media Department starting off with one day a week. Working under the guidance of our Digital Media Manager the successful candidate will find themselves working on a range of projects, utilising a wide variety of skills.

Liaising with photographers means the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally.

SNS Group are at the forefront of Digital Media in Scotland. Our key services of Photography, Video Production and Design cover disciplines ranging from sport to corporate and PR work, spanning both the public and private sectors. You may know us for our football and rugby coverage but we are so much more than sport.

The successful candidate will work across this entire spectrum within the Digital Media Department meaning no two days are ever the same. Organisational skills are key to succeeding in the job. We value strong attention to detail and welcome input and ideas from all staff. This is a very rewarding career opportunity for the right candidate.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Image Editing
• Social Media
• News Gathering
• Liaising with Clients and photographers

After a period of initial training is completed the successful candidate will see his/her responsibilities grow and future areas of progression will be identified. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, often to very tight and changing deadlines.

Skills and Competencies - Essential:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Well organised
• A team player
• Flexible in approach to work (Sat or Sun 8hrs per day)
• A general interest in media and sport
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Higher English

Skills and Competencies - Desirable:

• A strong knowledge of Scottish sport (in particular football and rugby)
• Experience of Adobe Photoshop
• Working knowledge of social media platforms
• A keen eye for photography
• One year working experience

The successful candidate will be based at our office in the West End of Glasgow.
