Pinkston Watersports is a short walk from Strathclyde University campus and an exciting city centre watersports venue with Scotland’s only artificial white water course.
We are a charity delivering paddlesports and land based activities to a range of community groups, schools and clubs. We have a direct delivery programme of activities to the general public but also service business with a large volume of clubs, rescue organisations and many others.
The role is customer facing and requires high levels of accuracy. Knowledge of Office.com and Teams would be useful. Pinkston also uses various other software booking platforms and therefore learning new packages would be necessary.
Knowledge of social media platforms, marketing, and managing enquiries and bookings are a key part of the role. There is no cold calling required but a confident phone manner is fundamental.
We are a small dynamic team and helping out with minimal cleaning and mucking in would be necessary – and of course a can-do positive attitude.
There is currently one other administrator in post, and this is effectively a job-share role.
Working hours are ‘probably’ a Monday and a Wednesday / alternating with a Saturday sometimes when necessary. During winter months Saturday is minimal but during the summer season there is a requirement for a Saturday.
The job has the capacity to offer more hours during the summer holidays to a successful candidate.
We are looking for confident, positive individuals who are computer literate to apply with a CV and covering letter to Jo, General Manager jo@pinkstonc.o.uk
