The Alumni and Development office is recruiting Strathclyde students to become callers for our annual telethon fundraising campaign. Callers will contact alumni of the University to share current student experiences and raise money for the University of Strathclyde’s Alumni Fund.

The Alumni Fund is supported by financial donations from the Strathclyde alumni community. Donations fund scholarships, the library, international study and student-led projects which enable Strathclyde students to realise their potential and have an outstanding university experience. The University fundraises for the Alumni Fund through various means, including an annual telethon campaign.

We are currently recruiting a highly motivated team of 45 Strathclyde students who will reach out to alumni by telephone over a three week period. No fundraising or sales experience is necessary as you will be provided with full training and support throughout the campaign.

All callers must have the right to work in the UK and be available for training on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th February 2024, and for calling shifts throughout the full campaign dates of Saturday 10th February – Sunday 3rd March 2024.

Please note calling and training will take place remotely, from your own home using your own laptop and mobile phone.
