SNS Group are seeking a well-organised individual to join the team as part of the Digital Media Department on a part time basis. Working under the guidance of our Picture Desk Manager, the successful candidate will find themselves working on a range of sporting events, utilising a wide variety of skills.

Liaising with photographers and editors, the successful candidate must be a strong communicator, both written and verbally. Organisational skills are key to succeeding in the job. We value strong attention to detail and welcome input and ideas from all staff. This is a rewarding career opportunity for the right candidate.

The job will primarily be over one day at the weekend and at least one during the week (Saturday and Sunday) but there may be scope for additional shifts where suitable. We are looking to speak to the candidates with regards to availability. Candidates should note weekend availability is crucial for this role

· Image Editing and Captioning

· Live Event Coverage (Office based)

· Data Entry

· News Gathering

· General Administration

· Liaising with Media and PR Clients

Skills and Competencies: Essential

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Well organised

· A team player

· Flexible in approach to work

· A general interest in Sport/Football

Skills and Competencies: Desirable

· A strong knowledge of Scottish sport (in particular football)

· Experience of Adobe Photoshop

· Working knowledge of social media platforms

· A keen eye for photography

Familiarity with Photoshop desirable but not essential.

After a period of initial training is completed, the successful candidate will see his/her responsibilities grow and develop. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, often to very tight and changing deadlines.
