You will be asked to upload a CV detailing the skills and experience you have that would make you suitable for the role.

Duties & responsibilities:
Being a welcoming first point of contact when students/visitors enter the Union
Responding to enquiries by email, phone, face to face and live chat
Ensuring the Union reception area is kept tidy and is welcoming
Setting up rooms as required for society/external bookings
Supporting occasional evening events for societies, such as being the on-duty fire marshal
Facilities/health and safety checks
Taking postal deliveries and directing these to the correct department
Operating Yodel and Ebay package drop offs and pick ups
Operating point of sale for merchandise sales
Extra duties when required
Full training will be provided
8 hours per week minimum term time contract
Must be available in Glasgow to start the role with training from 1st September
Person specification:
Experience delivering excellent customer service
Able to manage competing priorities
Able to work alone and with a team
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Able to problem solve with a can-do attitude
Able to work with Microsoft excel, teams and outlook, and able to learn to work with other software
Able to do manual handling to occasionally move packages and furniture
