Details

Tasks include conducting library tours, locating books and electronic resources, helping with Wi-Fi configuration and demonstrating Library self-service equipment and the student printing service. Our Ambassadors support the IS Enquiries team by queue-busting at busy times and through roving and dealing with first line and directional enquiries when working on the Library floors. There is a requirement for stock work too, including the re-shelving of books. There will be opportunity to become involved in Library projects and UX studies designed to introduce new, and to improve existing, services. You will be a good team player, will show initiative in suggesting areas for improvement from a customer perspective, be able to work across teams and be able to demonstrate empathy with customers and effective customer care skills.
