Pantry Assistant/ Strath Pantry Assistant
Following a successful pilot, we are pleased to have secured additional funding to continue Strath Pantry throughout the 2025-26 academic year. We are recruiting for a Strath Pantry Assistant within our Student Engagement team to support this project and operate the pantry, ensuring it runs smoothly and caters to the needs of our student community.
Main Activities/ Responsibilities
Operating Strath Union’s student pantry as directed and supported by the Student Opportunities Manager and the Pantry Oversight Committee.
Supervising the pantry during its opening hours, fielding queries from students and signposting to further support where appropriate.
Keeping stock check, restocking items as required and managing deliveries.
Managing feedback responses and implementing changes where appropriate.
Monitoring and evaluation for impact reporting and supporting funding applications.
Managing booking slots and liaising with our Marketing and Communications team for promotion of the service.
