BARTENDER / WAITER (3 positions)

Rate

£12.50 per hour (21 year olds & older); £10 per hour (18-20 year olds, with the opportunity of a performance-based increase in pay)

Hours

8.00 - 20.00 Between 8 & 20 hours per week. Primarily (but not exclusive to) Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays

Details

  • Take orders at tables via an iPad – intricate knowledge of our products and service delivery will be communicated through thorough training
  • Tray carrying (delivery to the guest; clearing glassware efficiently & skilfully)
  • Cleaning tables (upkeeping standards; resetting quickly for next guests)
  • Presenting & pouring wine at the table (product knowledge; glass-handling)
  • Dealing with spillages (communication to team members; adhering to health & safety)
  • Pouring pints via fonts
  • Pouring spirits via weights & measures
  • Glass-handling
  • Customer relations (warm welcome into & exit from the venue; confidence in your delivery; creating memorable experiences for guests both over the bar & on the floor)
  • Fruit cutting
  • Stocking fridges / shelves
  • Till operating & money-handling
  • Glass-washing (efficiency; glass rotation; speed)
  • Cocktail-mixing (per our menu or bespoke / particular to the guests’ request)
  • Asking for identification per Challenge 25
  • Closing down the bar and setting up for following day (from midnight to 1am finish)
