Application process

  • Deadline for applications will be Monday 27th July 10am
  • Interviews will take place week beginning 3rd August.

Hours

  • Average of 4 hours a week over 35 weeks (during term time)
  • Available to start at the beginning of September

Salary

  • £13.45/hour (plus holiday pay)

Main Activities/ Responsibilities

  • Support Student Engagement staff and elected officers on key campaigns and celebration months including Black History Month, LGBT+ History month and International Women’s Day.
  • Co-creating a programme of events including campaigns fairs and awareness months.
  • Provide practical support to help organise and deliver co-created events, including preparing materials, supporting event set-up and assisting with activities on the day.
  • Help gather student feedback on events and activities to inform future planning.

  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently and using initiative
  • Enthusiasm for student campaigns
  • Commitment to equal opportunities

Desirable
