Established in 2015 and based in Houston, Renfrewshire, Vouch For That provides a service allowing businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry to outsource the time consuming process of selling & distributing gift vouchers.
We provide our clients with an online shop which they link to from their own websites, where they display all the gift vouchers they wish to sell. When their customers land on this online shop, they choose which voucher they wish to buy and can choose to have it sent by email or post. E-vouchers are dispatched automatically and postal vouchers are printed, packed and posted by the Vouch For That team.
We provide customer support to our clients and their guests 7 days a week via telephone, email and online chat and ensure that we provide a five star customer experience at all times.
Working in a small business means that no two days are the same. General duties will include providing excellent customer service to our clients and their guests, ensuring that all gift voucher orders are fulfilled accurately and supporting the Managing Director with social media, business development and financial reporting.
This position has been fulfilled by a Masters student for the last 12 months and would definitely suit someone who is studying or has a flexible approach to working hours. Normal working hours will be 2 - 3 days per week, but the successful candidate will be required to work full time during some busy periods/to provide holiday cover.
Successful candidates must be able to work full time from 15th November to 24th December.
You will learn about all aspects of running a business, giving you an excellent grounding to either build on your career with Vouch For That, or learn essential skills that will make you stand out in the crowd to employers if you are studying.
Ideally you will have some previous customer service experience, perhaps in the hospitality industry. Understanding of data manipulation and formulas in Microsoft Excel essential. Experience in posting on social media for business would be advantageous. Being able to offer excellent customer service and having very good spoken and written English are essential. We are looking for a confident self starter who is able to manage their own workload and work efficiently without constant supervision. Excellent training on all aspects of the business will be provided.
Due to our location in Houston, Renfrewshire, having your own transport or living locally is essential.
