The Go Global Travel Award has been designed as part of our commitment to Widening Access. Go Global gives students from under-represented groups the opportunity of international travel and empowers them to pursue international experiences.
This year's trip takes place 29 March - 3 April. We will be taking 8 successful applicants to England, France, Belgium and Netherlands to visit different universities in four cities. Students on the programme will connect with Erasmus students at these universities and complete various activities while on the different campuses.
All the activities on this trip are fully funded and a daily allowance is given to all participants.
Finally, participants will be separated into groups to complete an information booklet for students hoping to study abroad. Upon return to Scotland, groups will present their work to a panel comprised of different University and Union representatives with the best presentation receiving a prize at the end.
The work produced will be used to encourage other students from under-represented groups to take part in international opportunities.
Applications close on 27 February.
Please note that the panel will also consider gender- and faculty balance when choosing the award recipients.
