Black History Month

This is Strath Union’s Campaign page for Black History Month at Strathclyde.

What is Black History Month?

Black History Month (BHM) is held annually in October in the UK, with a series of national events and exhibitions acknowledging and celebrating the outstanding achievements of Black people throughout UK history.

We are using the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights' definition of Black History Month, which includes people of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage.
