My studies have been affected by on-campus construction works

    Current
Ongoing construction works on campus are affecting concentration levels due to disruption. This includes classes being disrupted by the activity and rooms being moved as a result, often at short notice. There is no information shared by the University about how to address this issue. Purpose of Forum: - Understand the impact of the works - Generate feedback to provide to the University - Discuss next steps including potential solutions or compromises

11:10am on 4 Feb 20 I have found it difficult to hear my lecturer because of the loud noises from construction. This level of disruption is not conducive to learning of any kind, and I would like to see my class moved and other solutions to ensure I get the most out of each class.

Setting up a forum is really easy. All you need to do is:

    • Suggest an idea above

    • A staff member from the Democracy Team will get in touch to provide some advice and activate your poll

    • Once you get 50 signatures, we'll arrange a student meeting to progress your ideas

This is a chance to put forward suggestions and form next steps to whatever campaign you’d like to run.
