Latest parliament update
I thoroughly enjoyed being your VP Education last year and am so pleased you voted me in for a second term. Last year I worked on the uni's response to AI, improving the representation system, the Scottish Tertiary Enhancement Framework, more equitable practices for January start students and more. As always we take our lead from you, the students, to determine our priorities so please do get in touch with your reps (whether that's programme, faculty, me or the rest of the exec) to tell us what you want to see worked on!
I studied Product Design Engineering with a focus on inclusive design and sustainability and graduated in June 2023. Through my time in uni I was involved in societies (in particular USEV the university's Eco Vehicle team) and the union as a class rep, faculty rep and rep trainer.
Outside of work I can be found bouldering, making art and playing games. I also have an interest in martial arts and enjoy outdoor and adventurous activities but don't get to do them as much as I'd like. Some of my favourites have been walking the Hebridean way, kayaking and gliding. I'm originally from the Highlands and was lucky enough to learn Gàidhlig in school growing up. I'm hoping to learn more languages in the future as I love travelling and exploring new countries!
I'm excited to get to spend another year working with, supporting and advocating for students full time!
