The Welcome Team is made up of a diverse group of current students from all faculties and years who encourage new and returning students to get involved with Freshers' Week. This amazing Team is responsible for setting up fairs, distributing essential information, offering campus tours and making Strath as welcoming as possible. Volunteers will need to have basic knowledge of the University and be approachable, friendly and enthusiastic.
We've put together some key info for you: https://www.strathunion.com/volunteering/wt2020info/
We might be doing Freshers' a bit differently this year but we will still have loads of new students to welcome. In addition to all the regular stuff, you might be taking part in online activities, helping us brainstorm ways to engage with new students, or doing Zoom Q&As.
All you need to take part is enthusiasm for helping new students. If that's you, register your interest now!
