'My Time' is a friendship club for school children with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) their families and siblings in conjunction with RNIB. You would set up and lead (if possible) activities, welcome and register participants, engage with people with PMLD and their families/carers and other relevant duties. You should be enthuastic, friendly, and willing to meet and support a person with PMLD. We believe in rewarding volunteers, e.g. training, certificate of attendance, references and more.

PAMIS have a learning and development hub which has training toolkit including communication, health and safety guidelines, sensory integration, inclusive activities, etc. RNIB offer Values Training and Visual Awareness Training.

Support and supervision details
PAMIS and RNIB staff will always be present to support and supervise. The group we support will always have at least one carer if not two.
