Volunteering with The Conservation Volunteers

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Together with The Conservation Volunteers we will be visiting Provan Hall, one of Glasgow's oldest buildings and we will be working on restoring some timber steps in the grounds down to the wetland area. Depending on numbers we might also get involved in some Rhododendron removal, creating space for other species to grow in the area.

Pick-up for the event will be at 9:45am in Glasgow City Centre near Strathclyde campus. More specific information about meeting points and transport will be shared with ticket holders closer to the time.

Please prepare by wearing suitable clothing for outdoors, sturdy shoes, preferably boots, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Tools and work gloves will be provided. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided at lunch time but please bring water and a packed lunch with you.

For any questions about the event please contact rinna.vare@strath.ac.uk.
