Children and families volunteer

Ongoing

Children and Families volunteers support our team to provide fun play sessions for children and their families by providing help with setting up, engaging with families and tidying up equipment at the end of sessions.

We currently have vacancies for children and family volunteers in SENsation, which takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 2-5pm.  The role involves setting up sensory play equipment suitable for children with additonal support needs that attend with their parents or carers and siblings.

We are also looking for volunteers to support our Messy Play session, which takes place on Monday mornings from 10am to 12:30pm for aged 1-5 years old. Messy Play gives children the opporunity to explore messy, sensory and arty play.

We are also looking for volunteers for our Baby Beats, Tots 2 Toddlers and Bounce & Balance on a Tuesday at various times.

Ideally we are looking for applicants who have an interest in working with children/families. We encourage our families to play together therefore confidence and good communication skills are essential along with a fun outlook.
