Volunteers for CHAS Glasgow Ladies Lunch

06 Mar 2026 09:00

Closing date for applications is 01 Mar.

As a volunteer, you’ll help manage tables, encourage guests to take part in fundraising games, support auction bidding, spot bidders during the live auction, and ensure prizes and payments are handled smoothly. It’s a fast-paced, sociable role where you’ll build confidence, communication skills and real-world experience in events, fundraising and guest engagement — all while helping deliver an unforgettable day that makes a genuine difference.

You’ll play a hands-on role at the Glasgow Ladies Lunch, one of Scotland’s largest and most vibrant charity fundraising events, supporting Children’s Hospices Across Scotland. Traditionally welcoming around 200 guests and raising £55,000, the 2026 event (Friday 6 March) will be bigger than ever — with 350 guests and an ambitious goal to raise even more for children and families across the region.

From midday, guests will enjoy a drinks reception, a two-course lunch, live entertainment from N-Trance, and hosting by Des Clarke. The afternoon includes a buzzing silent auction, a live auction led by Alex Fleming, a direct appeal, and interactive games such as Champagne Draw, Diamond Draw and Table Raffles.
