Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity, saving lives and improving quality of life through research...
Ongoing
Become a Bowel Cancer Screening Champion and use your voice in the community, in-person or virtually, to make sure everyone knows about the bowel cancer screening programme in your area. This will help make sure that more people are aware of the screening programme and take part when invited. The bowel screening programme helps to spot bowel cancer before symptoms start, when it’s most treatable.
Take part from the comfort of your own home, using your social media to share our specifically curated social media graphics and videos in your community by reaching out to local businesses, community notice boards and places of worship to display our posters, or at your workplace by sharing information through your staff newsletters, our leaflets, or by putting our screening posters up in your staff toilets.
No long-term commitment is required — just a little bit of your time and your local knowledge! We'll provide you with everything you need to get you started including our toolkit and handy guide, as well as support from our dedicated volunteering team.
However you choose to take part, you’ll be helping your local community by making them aware of the screening programme for bowel cancer and where to find out more about it.
