Video Content Volunteer

We're looking for volunteers to help produce a series of short videos about nuclear weapons based on Scotland's west coast. Whether you'd like to perform pre-written scripts on camera, film or edit videos, we'd love to hear from you.

Are you interested in nuclear weapons and the risks they pose to Scotland?

Do you have experience in videography and social media?

Reclaim Our Clyde is a Scottish campaign looking for volunteers to record and edit several pre-written scripts about the nuclear weapons based on Scotland’s West Coast.

The scripts are pre-written and only need to be performed, filmed and edited. We would welcome volunteers to work on any one of these tasks. These videos would explain the effects of a nuclear attack on Scotland, the risks of nuclear convoys on Scottish roads and the environmental impacts of nuclear weapons.

These videos will be published online on the Reclaim Our Clyde website and the Scottish CND YouTube channel. They will be fully credited to acknowledge your work and can be included in a personal portfolio.

Location

Remote volunteering available. Filming locations to be agreed with volunteers.

Training available

Volunteers will receive background information about the project, campaign aims and key messages, along with the pre-written scripts and relevant materials. The Scottish CND team will be available to answer any questions about the campaign content and help ensure the videos reflect the aims of the project.

Hours per week

Hours will depend on the volunteer’s availability and the role involved.

Volunteers will have a named contact within the Scottish CND team and will receive regular communication throughout the project to discuss progress and coordinate activities.
