InDesign/Graphic Design

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

MCR Pathways is a Scottish, school based mentoring programme supporting those in or on the edges of the care-system to realise their full potential through education. MCR Pathways works in all Glasgow’s secondary schools and in schools in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh, North Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire. The programme supports almost 2,000 young people each week. MCR supports them to find, grow and use their own talents and skills. We are currently recruiting specialist volunteers who have extensive experience of working with InDesign software and are able to design and create engaging materials in line with our current MCR branding to market our organisation and recruit mentors. Successful volunteers will have: A passion for volunteering and understanding of the benefits it can bring to volunteers, communities and the city, including our MCR Pathways programme; Extensive knowledge of InDesign Some experience in creating and designing original content (social media posts, graphics) An interest in designing and branding Ability to work independently Full induction and appropriate training will be provided for the role, with full ongoing support. This opportunity will give a volunteer to meet new people, an opportunity to develop their own skills set and be part of the MCR ripple effect - www.mcrpathways.org
