Volunteer Home Help

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Food Train is an award winning Scottish charity which helps provide support to older people through a variety of services. We currently require volunteers who have a couple of hours spare a week to help our members who struggle with household chores such as hoovering, changing bed linen, washing windows etc due to mobility issues or poor health. Tasks are agreed with Food Train members in advance and booked in via the office before a team of 2 or 3 volunteers go out to visit the member and undertake the work required.
