Hi! I am Kayla-Megan Burns, your VP Community for 2019/20 in StrathUnion and a Biomedical Science student. I would like to stand as your NUS Scotland Conference Delegate as I believe I have developed the relevant skills needed for this position from my current role and I am confident that I am more than equipped to aid NUS Scotland policy decisions.

If elected I will;

• Push for strong policy to help combat the climate crisis and ensure a cleaner, greener future for all
• Fight in national campaigns such as those against the rising rent and poor conditions found in private halls, against circuit laundry, and against a no deal Brexit
• Collaborate as much as possible with other students, student unions, and NUS officers in order to bring back any relevant ideas and experiences to aid our own student’s union
• Ensure the views of ALL students at Strathclyde are represented at a national level.
