Hello! I’m Chelbi Hillan a 4^th year immunology and microbiology student at Strathclyde. I have been involved with representation since coming to university and would love to be your VP Education. During my time as class rep and Faculty of Science rep I have banned negative marking, made sure student voice has been heard and trained the next generation of class reps.  Here are the changes I want to see at Strathclyde:

• Audio recording of all lectures uploaded to MyPlace by 2021.
• Improve the library by adding more plugs, more convenient food and better facilities.
• Offer work experience opportunities and collaboration with industry to offer more internships for Strathclyde students.
• Improve the timetabling app and prevent travelling all over campus for continuous lectures.
• Adding more sockets to lecture theatres and ensuring rooms are fit for use by updating audio/visual equipment.
• Smaller classes and tutorial sizes to allow students to interact with teacher.
• Guaranteed week long study break between classes finishing and exams beginning.
• Improved funding and opening hours for maths and skills centre.
• Better quality audio/visual equipment in lecture theatres.
