I'm Swadhi Karthikeyan and I'm a second-year Economics, Politics+IR Student. I decided to stand for the position as Women’s Representative because I believe I can be the voice that helps amplify the voices in our community. Now more than ever, we as a community need to raise our voices and help each other grow.
As Women’s Representative, I will advocate -
- Bring awareness to male-dominated educational fields/ industries and address stigma pertaining to women in these fields.
- Increased mental health campaigns and care facilities for women facing difficulties during the pandemic. 
- In light of recent issues, address and increase awareness regarding violence and stigma towards women of colour.
- Organize ‘Consent Campaigns and Workshops’ as a mandatory session during fresher’s week and increase sexual health awareness.
- Organize and facilitate events which promote body positivity and mental health wellbeing.

As women, we need to stand with each other and help each other grow!
