Candidate for the position of Faculty Rep Business Postgraduate Taught
Your Voice Matters
My fellow students,
Our differences make us unique. We all come from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures and may speak different languages. Still, we all want the same thing from our course: learning, growing, and graduating considering our mental health.
My name is Daksha Sharma, a first-year MSc International Management student. I am standing for the Postgraduate Taught Faculty Representative position because I want to make sure our views and issues are addressed affirmatively. Hence, no matter what your grievance is, big or small, I will always treat it with equal compassion.
In the past five years, I have held roles as a Business Development and Customer Grievance Manager, where I was dealing with both the internal team and clients to negotiate a win-win deal for both parties. I will use these skills of mine to mediate between the faculty/department and us.
As your representative, I would also aim to ensure that you are kept informed of all the faculty and administration's decisions, and those decisions are to your benefit.
I will make sure that I take constant feedback from you on what I can do to improve your experience because you know best what you want to change.
I would be absolutely honoured to represent you and make a positive impact on your university experience.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Yours truly,
Daksha Sharma
