Vote for an advocate who will stand up for and by you.

Hi everyone! I’m running for Vice President Inclusion because I want Strathclyde University to be a campus where no matter who you are, where you come from or which religion you follow, that there is not only space for you on our campus but a welcoming one. And I will work my hardest to make that possible.

Advocating for marginalised groups is not something I am unfamiliar with, on and off of the Strathclyde campus. I won’t get drowned out by louder voices in the room and I won’t let your cause get drowned out either.

I previously have stood as Strathclyde Women’s Rep, ran and won on a platform of inclusivity and an open mind, something central to my approach if you vote for me. I have been doing community and charity work since I was eleven and taking on leadership roles in that work for just as long; learning, adapting and growing all the while in order to be the best champion for the causes I’m advocating for.

My experience shows that not only am I passionate about learning and standing up both for the people and causes I believe in, but I regularly dedicate my time to making a difference, and I would be grateful for the opportunity to dedicate all of my time to doing that.

If you vote for me, I will spend the entire year fighting your cause so you can do what you came to university for: to study and have fun.
