Hi! I’m Maclean Jacob Eneotu, a 2nd Year Chemical and Process Engineering (PhD) Student. I want to be your Student Development and Enetrprise Officer for 2018/2019.
Whilst I’ve only been at the University of Strathclyde for a year now, I have been at university for four years now and gathered lot of experiences in working with students. During my time as the Society of Petroleum Engineers President; London South Bank University Student Chapter, I worked with the University’s authority to organise series of guest lecturers events aimed at bringing enterpreneurship and job opportunities close to the students.
If you elect me as your Student Development and Enterprise Officer, I will strive to:
Help in coordinating events in collaboration with the University’s career service to Increase the awareness of enterprise and skills development opportunities among students.
Ensure that entrepreneurship is an integral part of Students’ experience across all faculties and departments.
Encourage business ‘competitions’ among students.
Ensure that enterprise funding streams are properly managed and utilised.
