Sounds gay, I’m in!

In the last year, I've had the privilege of representing Strathclyde's LGBT+ student community, and I would love to continue for another year. Since being elected, I've collaborated with the Union to hold an LGBT History Month Trans and Non-Binary swimming session, with Decolonising Conversations for the Politics of Pronouns seminar, and ensured the Union's participation in the Trans Rights Rally at Buchanan Galleries.

If I were to be re-elected, I would campaign to make the Trans and Non-Binary swimming session into a regular session, so that all of Glasgow's trans and non-binary population can have a safe place to swim. I would also work to streamline the process of changing gender in university admin systems, and to have non-binary genders officially recognised by the university.

The LGBT+ community at Strathclyde is full of such wonderful people, and you all deserve to be heard and feel safe here.
