Manifesto:
I am Pradeep Poduru, an MSc Student in Business Analysis & Consulting. I am running for the role of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) Representative and here is my Manifesto.
1.Any racism, discrimination, or bias that occurs on our campus will be actively monitored by me. I'll collaborate with the University for the Implementation of strong anti-racism laws —This involves tackling racism that exists within the BAME community.
2.I aim to organise events for BAME students that foster positive social interaction & provide a networking opportunity to connect with professionals from diverse backgrounds. These events will provide a platform for students to promote themsleves.
3. I promise to actively listen to your concerns and be a strong advocate for our community. In addition to this, I will strive to create Increased availability of part-time job opportunities on campus for the student who belong to BAME background.
4. I want to help more BAME students with their well-being and advocate for more diversified mental health support services, as well as, the formation of additional mental health support groups if required
I am dedicated to working in collaboration with all stakeholders to attain our objectives and establish a university that fosters inclusivity and support, enabling every student to feel valued and empowered to achieve success.
