Take time to listen, that’s how we acquire diversified knowledge.

Who am I

Having worked in spaces that understand the importance and impact of relationship building, I find it substantial that people should engage to learn and develop. As a result, I fundamentally, believe in the notion that, your perception of me is not my reality, so take the time to discover my reality through my perspective so that your inclusivity represents me and not how you of me.

Interests

  • Enhance an inclusively diverse postgraduates experience

Recognition and be mindful of the diversified needs of the PGR community (DBA, PhD, MRes). Disrupt the shadow of ‘the forgotten lot’ of the PGR community from wider university culture through avenues of professional, academic, social, and emotional inclusiveness. A large research output fundamentally results from the presence and productiveness of an active PGRs community.

  • Visible engagement

Building relationships of collaboration, allyship, and a sense of community as a group that connects the worlds of undergraduate students and academia within universities is crucial for successful research outcomes.

  • Support network

Postgraduate studies can be a lonesome journey fraught with all forms of fatigue and anxieties, thus the intention is to foster an environment where PGRs feel confident and equipped to do their part to the best of their abilities. Collaborative space that allows the active participation of PGR students to forester a culture of ongoing exchange of ideas, activities and visions for the community driven by its stakeholders.
