There's strength and beauty in inclusivity
After working for as a human rights lawyer for2 years, I've realised that the one common problem the world faces is systemic discrimination of minorites. Forget inclusivity, these groups are actively discrimination against by the political, social, cultural and economic systems, be it disabled people, women, trans folks or POC. And while I cannot change the world right now, what I can do is make sure this diversity is represented in our university. I genuinely believe that we can be kinder and stronger if we take steps to ensure minority representation. Look at us, we're all around, despite what mainstream media and pop culture wants you to believe. Let's find our strength in diversity and inclusion.
