I am running for the role of Mature Students’ Officer at the University of Strathclyde. Previously I held at a position as student representative during my undergraduate studies where I promoted interdepartmental sports competition, student well being development and assisted in providing awareness of meningitis within the school community. I am positive my experience and leadership skills gained will be valuable to this positon. I am passionate about supporting the mature students to provide adequate information of the different support the University of Strathclyde and its union provides such as financial, wellbeing and advice services.  I aim to develop projects and events that will help build and support mature students that encompasses of student parents, students cares, living at home students.
