Savvina Kritharidou

Let's talk business.

Being a class representative for all my university years and being clearly engaged in the union, I know what I can do as a Business Faculty Rep and I know how to do it.

My projects will be:

  1. To bring Careers Fairs to the business school for jobs, internships and graduate programs, with opportunities for EVERY department in the Business School. Being the Events Manager of a society I’ve got the skills to organise such new initiatives.
  2. To lower the 10% deduction of marks for late submission to 5% as it used to be earlier in the Business School, this changed last year (for most courses).
  3. To establish end-of-year educational trips in a student-friendly budget to the UK and/or Europe, to broaden our horizons with friends without ‘breaking the bank’.
  4. To bring more trainings available to business school students, whether that is about online security, analysing data or public speaking, there are so many options and I’d like to have your feedback on what you’d want to see!

I’ll be committed to:

  • Bringing business students’ views in the Education Committee, the Student Experience, the Board of Study and more, to ensure that all issues are properly dealt with.
  • Communicating in a regular basis with class reps and act based on their feedback.
  • Having a monthly questionnaire sent to all business students to identify what you consider important and act upon it.
  • Increasing the Opportunities offered to Business School students in regards to trainings and job opportunities.
