Strathclyde Christmas Toy Appeal 2022

The Strathclyde Christmas Toy Appeal is back collecting donations for disadvantaged children in Glasgow and beyond.

What's occurring?

This year's toy appeal aims to spread the Christmas cheer and collect as many presents as possible to give to disadvantaged children living in and around Glasgow, who would not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas.

For the first time in two years, the team behind the toy appeal have announced they are accepting physical donations. The drop-off point for gifts is the Welcome Desk or the Enquiry Desk in the Strathclyde Library and the Toy Appeal is running until the 12th of December. They kindly ask for new and unwrapped gifts. It is also possible to make cash donations online.

They are looking for presents for primary-school aged children and also teenagers. They're always especially happy to receive cuddly toys as they also donate gifts to charities who work with children from age 0 up. If you've got any questions check out the frequently asked questions document the team have put together.
