There are a huge number of benefits to volunteering in sport whilst at University. These include developing your transferable skills, growing your social networks, helping sustain and develop activity, and, fundamentally, the opportunity to make yourself more employable.
As part of the Sports Union’s Incoming Committee Training, we will provide all elected club officials an opportunity to engage with staff, discover exactly what the Sports Union is all about and be inspired about the year ahead as a club committee member. Based on your feedback, we have moved training from the traditional pre-Freshers’ week slot to post-Semester two to give you more time to prepare for the academic year ahead.
Training will be delivered by Sports Union staff for all incoming committee member, covering the below topics. Please click on each link to register through the Students Union website (student login required); workshops are limited to a maximum of 12 participants.
