What is StrathACTIVE?
StrathACTIVE is one of the University’s active health programmes delivered in partnership between the Sports Union, Strathclyde Sport and Strath Union. Together, we provide a range of free activities on campus for students and staff where the emphasis is on having fun and being a part of #StrathLife.

Person Specification:
- Be a University of Strathclyde student (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- A passion for developing and promoting accessible sport and physical activity to peers and motivating inactive students to take part.
- Enthusiasm for creating social media content.
- You do not need to be part of a sports club or have previous experience in sport – we want students who enjoy and are committed to being active and want to help others to be more active more often.
- Good communication skills
- Reliable & trustworthy
- Flexible & adaptable
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly StrathACTIVE sessions and one-off events on campus
- Assist the Sport Development Coordinator to capture and create weekly session content for social media to share on Instagram.
- Assist the Sport Development Coordinator to monitor engagement within the programme by capturing feedback on StrathACTIVE sessions
- Set up and de-rig of relevant sports equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Assist Strathclyde Sport operational staff with the set up and de-rig of activity sessions
- Record attendance registers
