Our Strategy

Take a look at our strategy for 2025-30.

We represent students

We are the place where lifelong friendships are formed. Where it all happens. Be part of it.

We exist to represent the views and interests of all 24,000 students at the University of Strathclyde. We do this by lobbying on your behalf on the issues you care about, delivering campaigns and organising student activity. We offer an independent and confidential advice service, run by professional staff advisers who can support you on matters related to your studies, housing, and funding and finance.

We also want you to have fun while developing skills and enjoying experiences through societies and sports clubs. There are plenty of options with over 200 Societies and over 50 Sports Clubs run by students, for students. We accomodate student volunteering opportunities to help you learn more about your community and enable you to develop professionally and personally.

Our Strategy

Our Strategic Framework sets out the priorities that will guide Strath Union's decisions, investments and partnerships between 2025 and 2030.

It provides clarity on where we will focus our energy and resources to deliver meaningful outcomes for students and strengthen our role at the heart of the student experience. This is a framework for long-term direction. Detailed delivery plans will be developed annually to ensure our work remains responsive to the evolving needs of students.
