Having trouble using the Find a Rep tool? Explore frequently asked questions about using the platform and who to contact with any problems.

This page has a non-exhaustive list of potential explanations why the Find my Rep function isn't working for you. If you are still expereriencing an issue after following the appropriate steps please contact the Representation team.

Can't Find your Rep

  1. Your Programme doesn't have a Rep

    A rep should be in place by Week 3 of Semester 1 or 2 depending on the start date of the course. Staff running your programme are expected to send the reps details to the Union Representation team.

    You can check with staff running your programme if this has happened.

  2. Your Programme name might not match

    For some large programmes the name displayed or given to students doesn't match the one used in University data.

    You can check with staff running your programme if it goes by a different name.

I'm not listed as a Rep

  1. Check your data sharing status

    On Pegasus you can view your data sharing preference and update these at any time via the Personal Tab under the Data option.

    To connect your student record to a Union record you will need to check Yes under the Strathclyde Students' Union section.

  2. You're awaiting resit results

    If you've registered but are currently waiting on results from the August/December exam diet, we won't receive your data from the university until the exam board has met and you have received your results.

  3. You haven't confirmed your curriculum

    If you've not yet confirmed your curriculum for both semesters, we won't recieve your data from the university until this is confirmed on Pegasus.
