We strive to enhance the Strathclyde experience by promoting, representing and supporting students' interests and welfare. Our diverse social, cultural and sporting opportunities offer all students the chance to thrive.

After years of development,  Strath Union has unveiled it's new location and stunning building. The new location is within the Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell Wing of the new Learning and Teaching building at 51 Richmond Street and the Union opened its doors on 10 September 2021 to welcome students for Freshers' week. We are dedicated to representing all 23,000 students at the University Of Strathclyde. We ensure you are fairly represented and lobby on key issues to bring them to the attention of the University. Your dedicated Student Executive are here to represent you on a range of issues like education, welfare, disability, diversity, the environment and more. If you think the University needs to address something, or reassess a certain policy, we can make it happen. We aim to provide exciting and innovative opportunities for students, always making sure that Strathclyde Students’ Union is a welcoming and fun place to be.

Strath Union Strategic Plan 2018-2022Here you can read through our Strategic Plan for 2018-2022. We believe this sets out the future direction of your Union, highlighting the key areas (representing your voice, giving you opportunities, building your community and your future Union) where you will see change in the years ahead. Based on your feedback, this strategy identifies four core themes that will enable us to successfully achieve our vision and ensure that your voice is at the heart of everything we do.
