Third Step – Day-to-Day Running

  1. Selling Merchandise

    Societies have the option of selling merchandise on their webpage. This can be done by emailing the Societies team with all your merchandise details. Please go onto our designated merch page to find out the details we require and how you can manage your merch.

  2. Incorporate Active & Engaged initiative

    This rewards societies who go above and beyond to positively engage with students, Strath Union and the wider community. There are three tiers to achieve: Bronze, Silver and Gold, with prizes for each.

  3. Consider your storage needs

    If you need to store equipment that your society owns, send an email to Societies team with a description e.g. number/size of items, expected storage duration, intended usage and we will advise on how to store this safely.

  4. Policy, Constitution and Committee Governance

    The Society Policy outlines how your society must run. You can use the page below as a guide for any changes to or issues with your society constitution and/or committee.

    Committee members will receive a discount at Union venues and certificate at the end of the academic year.
