Vice President Community

Vice President Community is responsible for campaigning to widen development projects and opportunities for students. They will campaign to widen participation in extra-curricular activities and support the development of the clubs and societies. Vice President Sport

Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic Rep

The BAME Rep promotes inclusivity on campus and is a spokesperson for all students of African, Arab, Caribbean, Asian, Latin American and First Nation decent. The BAME Rep sits on the Strathclyde Students’ Union Equality Diversity Committee. The Rep directly reports to the Vice President Inclusion and works closely together with the Student Exec on campaigns concerning students identifying as BAME. The Rep must self-define as a BAME student enrolled at Strathclyde University.

Mature Students' Rep

The Mature Students’ Rep promotes inclusivity on campus, is a spokesperson for all students that are 21 years old or over at the start of their undergraduate programme or 25 years old or over at the start of postgraduate study. The Mature Students’ Rep sits on the Strath Union Welfare Committee and attends Student Parliament. The Rep is responsible for organising a minimum of one campaign or project per semester that champions mature students’ issues and raises awareness.

NUS Scotland Conference Delegate

Following the withdrawal of a delegate, a place to attend the NUS Scotland Conference (online event) is available. Conference dates: 11th-12th March 2021, candidates must be available on these dates. These elected delegates represent Strathclyde Students at the annual NUS Scotland Conference where regional policy is set, governance is amended and the next leaders of the student movement are elected.
